Alison is the Export Director at leading third generation family company Reh Kendermann in Germany, where she has managed various parts of the business since 2000. Her responsibilities cover the key export market of the UK and overseeing contract bottling with major global players as well as being heavily involved with the winemaking side.  

She is a scholarship-winning Master of Wine, a former MW Technical Exam Panel Chair and fluent in three languages.

In her spare time, she lectures WSET Diploma and Erasmus programme students at Geisenheim, Germany's University of wine.  She also hosts wine seminars, tastings and culinary wine events with her former Michelin-starred chef husband and translates First and Business Class wine lists for Lufthansa as well as other wine texts including a book on the 900 year old iconic Rheingau estate, Schloss Johannisberg.

Prior to joining Reh Kendermann Alison worked for 15 years in the UK for companies as diverse as whiskey specialist Gordon and MacPhail, Kingsland drinks bottling specialists and French agency house Thierry’s.
